Everybody's Got a Little Light Under the Sun
Redeeming, Restoring, Reconciling the Biblical Story through Drama for the African- American Community
Self imaging has been apart of the social and cultural development of human beings for millenniums. In particularly the Christian religion has served communities in their view of God and themselves especially among the African American community where imaging in America has historically sought to demean and not to uplift. This book explores historical and theological information pertaining to how Biblical imagery has been reflective of Caucasian cultures without the fair inclusion of African, African American and darker hued cultures from where the origins of Christianity began. It includes as well how dramatic interpretation of Biblical narratives can connect and identify people of color to the greatest stories ever told thus ensuring the reminder that, “Everybody’s Got A Little Light Under The Sun.”
